EEEEKKK! That sounds scary!

Rejection slips, or form letters, however tactfully phrased, are lacerations of the soul, if not quite inventions of the devil – but there is no way around them.
~ Isaac Asimov

George Orwell

“When I sit down to write a book, I do not say to myself, ‘I am going to produce a work of art.’ I write it because there is some lie that I want to expose, some fact to which I want to draw attention, and my initial concern is to get a hearing.”
—George Orwell

From the ashes

“There is nothing to writing.  All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.”
Ernest Hemingway

It does feel like that sometimes, doesn’t it. There is so much bottled up inside but it’s hard to choose what to let out of the box at any given time.

Writing is something I have had inside but never put to paper and pen. I am hoping it will come as it should.

Wish me luck.
